Terms of Service

Last updated 11 August 2026

By using SermonWell you agree to what follows. It is written plainly on purpose.

What the service does

You upload an audio or video recording. We transcribe it, and — if you ask — generate a pack of derived material: a summary, key points, a midweek devotional, small-group questions, quotable moments, social posts and a newsletter blurb.

What you may upload

The generated material is a draft

The content pack restates what was preached; quoted lines are taken from the transcript. It is still machine-generated and can be wrong, can misattribute emphasis, and can misrender names, scripture references and theological terms. Review it before publishing or teaching from it. It is not a substitute for the preacher's own judgment, and we make no claim about its theological accuracy.

Minutes, payment and refunds

Your account

Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. A guest account lives only in the browser you created it in — clearing your browser storage loses the balance attached to it, which is why we suggest signing up before buying minutes.

Availability

We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Transcription depends on third-party speech recognition, which can be slow or unavailable. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service entirely we will give notice and honour unused minutes where we reasonably can.

Limits of liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss arising from publishing generated material without reviewing it. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Ending it

You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your data — see the Privacy Policy. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
